PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Algene-D Capsule is a combined medication utilized for treating gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease. It effectively alleviates symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, and irritation. Additionally, it neutralizes acid and aids in the smooth passage of gas, reducing stomach discomfort.

Take Algene-D Capsule without food, following the dosage and duration prescribed by your doctor. The specific dose will depend on your condition and your response to the medication. Continue using this medicine for the duration recommended by your doctor. Prematurely stopping the treatment may lead to a recurrence of symptoms and worsen your condition. Inform your healthcare team about all other medications you are taking, as some may interact with or be affected by this medicine.

Common side effects may include diarrhea, stomach pain, dryness in the mouth, headache, flatulence, and weakness. Most of these side effects are temporary and usually resolve over time. If you have any concerns about these side effects, promptly contact your doctor. This medicine may cause dizziness and drowsiness, so avoid activities that require mental focus until you understand how it affects you. Refrain from consuming alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can exacerbate drowsiness. Implement lifestyle modifications such as drinking cold milk and avoiding hot tea, coffee, spicy food, or chocolate to achieve better results.

Algene-D Capsule reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes and relieves the pain associated with heartburn and acid reflux. You should take it exactly as it is prescribed for it to be effective. Some simple lifestyle changes can help reduce the symptoms of GERD. Think about what foods trigger heartburn and try to avoid them; eat smaller, more frequent meals; try to lose weight if you are overweight and try to find ways to relax. Do not eat within 3-4 hours of going to bed.

In Treatment of Peptic ulcer disease

Peptic ulcer disease is characterized by the development of painful sores or ulcers in the inner lining of the stomach or intestine. Algene-D Capsule helps in reducing the production of stomach acid, preventing further damage to the ulcer as it naturally heals. HOW ALGENE-D CAPSULE WORKS

Algene-D Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Rabeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic that acts on the upper digestive tract, enhancing the movement of the stomach and intestines. This action facilitates smoother passage of food through the stomach. On the other hand, Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the production of stomach acid, providing relief from acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE ALGENE-D CAPSULE?

In the event of a missed dose of Algene-D Capsule, take it as soon as you remember. However, if your next scheduled dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule. Avoid taking a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
